Meet Our Model: Andi

The alluring Andi and I hit it off instantaneously when we spoke on the phone for the first time, with her quick wit and sophisticated demeanor. And if I must say, we literally gabbed for two sensational hours and 53 minutes - but who's counting the seconds of time when you meet another woman who has so many captivating things to say about the diversity of life. This multi-faceted female, with a deep voice (almost like the vibrato tone of the sexy Kathleen Turner when she did that movie "Romancing the Stone" kind of articulation). Andi has a very distinctive language of connection, because she seems to just "get you" and puts you at ease with her quintessential nature. She's a smart lady. Inquisitive and so much to say about so many things. When we finally had the chance to meet in person, she has this upscale casual persona where everything about her fits into place; with slender legs, and a figure to swoon over. She reminded me of cross between an East Hampton's woman with a touch of West Coast ambiance in her, too. Someone who has it all together, and dresses so boutique glam, as though she just came from a socialite luncheon and wants to tell you about all the fascinating people she met. Plus, she is very informative about the health and vitality to keep on looking amazing, from the inside out, as Andi is the Strategizer & CEO for SOS Health Advocates.

  • "Why are you involved in this Red+Black Campaign for Pretty Worthy?"

This is such a girly answer but when I see beautiful girls enjoying themselves in such a positive light… I think “I want that”… I AM that!

 

  • "Do you often wear bathing suits? And what is the type of suits you like to wear most?"

Yes, I go back-and-forth between one pieces into pieces… Truly its the hardest piece of wardrobe for me though.

 

  • "Tell me something beautiful that you LOVE about your body."

I  my body’s ability to change, grow and identify with each season of my life. I feel like I am currently at my best relationship with my body… of my whole life! Mic drop!

 

  • "Tell us something personal or funny about yourself? Anything you wish to share."

Oh gosh, Well… I think I’m funny! Like Marvelous Miss Meisel funny…and I love to sing… Unfortunately that’s a gift I don’t yet possess but that doesn’t stop me from doing it!

  • "Do you have a business that you would like to share with us, or what you do for a living? We would love to hear about it."

I am The Strategizer & CEO for SOS Health Advocates.

 

The easy answer is that I sell insurance… Medicare to be specific. I have a very healthy older husband so I thought I knew what that season of life should look like. Let’s just say I am very blessed because unfortunately most of what I see are people desperately in need of hope and solutions… Not just insurance.

Like so many other things over the past 2+ years I felt like I couldn’t just “do nothing”…So I started our company SOS Health Advocates…. We are advocates for helping the body heal itself. Under our umbrella we have several “solutions” …everything from energy, weight loss and collagen to micro frequency and Thermotherapy to alternative medicine.

  • "What do you do for fun in Vegas? Any special hot spots you like to go to?"

My favorite place is my backyard so that’s not really a fair answer. Our favorite restaurant is Tres Cazuelas on Spring Mountain. Neighborhood joint is Spaghetti Western. I have a 16-year-old so we also enjoy Area 15. After 20+ years working on the strip… That is not our go to anymore.

 

  • "Do you have a favorite vacation spot that you have traveled to?"

It's a toss up between Italy… the Caribbean… The Caribbean because of the water…Italy because, well, It’s Italy!!

 

  • "What exotic place would you like to travel to in the future? And who would you bring?"

Maldives….the lucky Tim Sage!

 

  • "What does this bathing suit campaign mean to you? Does it give you some sort of empowerment?"

I think for this one it’s more that everybody is beautiful concept. I have models before I would never want to do it as a career… It’s something fun to do with some girlfriends… Definitely. It remains to be seen as to whether there’s any empowerment for me in it.… No, I have never been someone who shows off her body.

  • "What makes you special or unique in life?" 

I have a sparkle… I am highly favored I know and have been blessed beyond measure. Any gifts I possess are purely God given!
